How do I make a complaint?
We pride ourselves on the service we offer, however your right to complain is important to us. We will do our best to resolve your complaint as quickly as possible .If you cannot settle your complaint with us, you may be entitled to refer it to the Financial Ombudsman Service.

Yes. We have a range of policies which can cover all handsets up to a maximum replacement value of £1,000. Simply contact us here with your make and model of phone, and if it is a currently available phone we will add it to our list very quickly. We'll then email you to tell you that you may have an instant quote.
What does the business mobile phone insurance cover for?
Loss, theft (including unattended theft from a secure vehicle, including commercial vehicles, or secure premises), extended warranty (up to 5 years), cost of fraudulent calls (up to £100), accidental damage, water damage, and international cover. Brand new replacement phones are given for all loss, theft, and accidental damage claims.
What are the main exclusions?
Deliberate damage, and failing to report the loss or theft to the appropriate authorities (see making a claim).
Can any age of phone be covered?
No. The handset or device must be equal to or less than 6 months old when the business policy is first taken out.
How much does TalkCover business mobile phone insurance cost?

Is there an excess to pay when making a claim?
Yes. The first £25 of each theft or accidental damage claim, or the first £50 of each loss claim. For a claim made outside the UK, Isle of Man and Channel Islands it is £75.
Who underwrites TalkCover mobile phone insurance?
All TalkCover mobile phones insurance policies are underwritten by Equity Red Star.
Do I have to sign up for a minimum term?
No, if you choose to pay by Direct Debit then you can pay for the mobile phone insurance monthly, and cancel your policy at any time you wish. Should you choose to pay for 36 months cover however, we offer you 36 months insurance for the price of 30.
How soon am I covered by the mobile phone insurance?
The instant you complete the order process, we will automatically email you with a provisional policy number, and your business phones are covered.
What if I change my company's phones?
We can simply transfer the new phones onto the policy, contact us with the make, model, and IMEI numbers of the new phones immediately. You must do this, if you do not it will invalidate your policy. Depending upon the replacement cost of the new phone there may be a change in premium, either an increase or a decrease.
All business policies can expand and contract with your requirements.
How long does it take to process a claim?
We guarantee to process all completed claims within 48 hrs. You can view the claims procedure.
How do I report my phone stolen or lost?
First report the matter to your mobile phone network. They will blacklist the phone to prevent its unauthorised use. Then report the matter to the local police. They will issue you with a crime reference number if you have been the victim of a theft, or a loss reference number if you have lost your phone. .

Can I cancel my business mobile phone insurance policy at any time?
Yes. The policy can be cancelled within 14 days of you receiving your insurance confirmation, thereafter 1 months notice is required. Write to us at TalkCover, Treacle Ltd, 62 High Street, Cowbridge CF71 7AH. Please include your name, date of birth, address and policy number so that we may comply with the Data Protection Act.
